O’Grady is a quirky teen cartoon from the creators of Bob’s Burgers. The show had an anything goes approach and we used that as inspiration to create a billiards-pinball action puzzle game but with clones. Having the entire O’Grady kit at our disposal (locations, characters, art style, sound clips) we were able to create a spot on take of the wonderfulness and weirdness of O’Grady, rewarding their fans and introducing the show to a whole new audience.
Clones & Character
Inspired by an episode about clones run amuck, this neat fit between game design and the show’s oddball theme allowed us to highlight characters and personalities from the show front and center.
Puzzles & Powerups
A gentle learning curve introduced players to new gameplay twists (obstacles, power ups), leveling up to challenging physics puzzles and requiring some trick shots.
Scores & Socials
The game was a hit with the tween players at The N, where they compared high scores, discussed strategies, and talked about the show.
